When is the print version of Festivalguide published?
Festivalguide magazine includes a DVD and hits the newsstands in late May every year.
Is there a free version of Festivalguide magazine?
Yes, once Festivalguide’s newsstand version is out, a free version of the magazine (without DVD) will also be available from all Intro outlets and many box offices. Please click here for a complete list of outlets.
How do I get a copy of the Festivalguide timer?
The timer (issued in late May) will be available through the Intro outlets, but also from petrol stations and selected tobacconists and of course at all festivals that are part of the Festivalguide tour.
How can I order the magazine, the timer and the DVD?
You can either subscribe to Intro magazine and get your issue of Festivalguide sent directly home to you every year in May. Or you request your very own copy directly from Intro Aboservice, Postfach 19 02 43, 50499 Köln, Germany, keyword "Guide Order". You can also place your order directly through www.intro.de/shop!
I'm an event manager. How do I get my festival listed in the guide?
Just register here and enter the details of your festival.
What does VVK mean?
VVK stands for the German word "Vorverkauf", which means advance sale.
What does "zzgl. Gebühren" mean?
"zzgl. Gebühren" means "plus fees". German box offices generally add a fee of ten percent to the actual ticket price.
How long has Festivalguide magazine been around?
Festivalguide magazine was first published in 1997 and instantly became Europe’s biggest medium for open air events. Festivalguide.de was launched the same year. The timer – your pocket festivalguide – was issued for the first time in 2001.
